Neil G. Ballard's Movies ON TV

Neil G. Ballard's Movies On TV is an ongoing project wherein I document the act of watching movies from the comfort of my couch. In April of 2024, I created Issue 1 of the NGB MOT zine, which is available for purchase (shipping in US only). The zine is an seven-page comic that I inked traditionally using a nib pen, and it follows my train of thought while I watch an obscure fantasy action movie on TV.

I am a cartoonist, and my work is inspired by 20th-century popular art such as vintage comics and advertisement illustrations.

I make comics for clients ranging from local businesses to large companies selling products globally. When making comics for commercial use, my approach is to make fun, approachable art that meets the needs of my clients, promoting their products and services with style and a sense of humor.

Neil the Muralist

My murals adorn walls and businesses in San Francisco. I have been painting murals professionally since 2020, and I particularly enjoy creating mural designs that feature natural scenes and buildings. You can see the murals I have created in more detail here.
